WP Cumulus – One Really Cool WordPress Plugin

Roy Tanck has created one of the coolest plugins for WordPress 2.3+ that I’ve seen. WP Cumulus creates a flash based revolving tag cloud that has to be seen to be appreciated. The plugin also gives you the option to change color, background, width, and height to fit your blog.

Besides, it’s just plain cool to have a moving tag cloud.

You can see it here or on his blog.

Author Exposed Plugin

Igor from Color Light Studio has created a great plugin which he calls Author Exposed. From his site:

This plugin does the same thing as the_author() tag only this time it’s linked to hidden layer (div). By clicking on the author link the layer pop’s up with author info gathered from the profile page, plus gravatar photo, if author email is assigned with one.

I can see many uses for this plugin, especially for business related sites, ie: virtual business card. To test the plugin, go to his site and click on his name under the post title. Great job Igor!
